Stake using Keystore File on SolFlare
1. Create a wallet
- Navigate to the SolFlare UI and select Access
- Click Create a Wallet
- Select the Using Keystore File tab
- Click Next
- Create and enter your password twice. Be sure to save it somewhere safe offline.
- Click Next
- Download your Keystore File and put it somewhere secure. You will not be able to access your wallet without it.
Ensure that you store your Keystore File somewhere safe where it cannot be lost or compromised. Your Keystore File is the master key to your wallet; loss or compromise of your Keystore File may result in permanent loss of your SOL.
- Click Next
- Upload your Keystore File to verify it downloaded correctly
- Click Finish
2. Access your wallet
- Navigate to the SolFlare UI
- Click Access
- Enter your password
- Upload your Keystore File
- Click Access
3. Transfer SOL to your wallet
- Copy the address that shows under Your Address in the SolFlare UI
- Visit the exchange or wallet where your SOL was purchased/stored, and send your SOL from where it was purchased to the wallet address copied above
- After waiting the network processing time, your SOL balance should show at the top of the SolFlare wallet extension when opened
4. Create a stake account
- Click Get Started at the bottom of the SolFlare UI
- Enter the amount of SOL you would like to stake. Please leave at least 1 SOL in your wallet to cover transaction fees.
- Click Next
- Fill in your password
5. Stake your SOL to our public validator
- Select the Staking tab at the top of the SolFlare UI
- Click Delegate Now for your staking account

- Select Bison Trails’ validator beefKGBWeSpHzYBHZXwp5So7wdQGX6mu4ZHCsH3uTar
- Click Next
- Fill in your password
- Click Confirm
- Wait until a “Transaction complete!” message appears
Congratulations! You are now staked to the Coinbase Cloud validator.
